Burbank, CA (August 7, 2025) — A pedestrian was critically injured Thursday evening after a two-vehicle crash in Burbank sent one car careening into the side of a business building.
Incident details: The collision occurred around 8:30 p.m. at the intersection of Riverside Drive and Rose Street. According to the Burbank Police Department, two vehicles collided in the intersection, causing one to strike a pedestrian standing on the corner before crashing into a building at 4252 Riverside Drive. The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital in critical but stable condition and is expected to recover. No other injuries were reported. The building, home to coworking and creative wellness center Feybl, sustained significant damage but was deemed structurally sound by fire officials.
Investigation and Legal Considerations: While the cause of the crash remains under investigation, a thorough analysis will need to determine whether speed, distracted driving, or failure to yield contributed to the collision. In a case involving severe pedestrian injuries, accident reconstruction, witness interviews, and traffic camera footage are often critical in establishing fault.
Pending the outcome of the investigation, a personal injury claim could help the injured pedestrian recover damages for medical expenses, lost wages, and long-term care needs.
I wish the injured pedestrian a full and swift recovery.
