Los Angeles, CA (June 1, 2025) — A man in his mid-30s was killed late Sunday night in a hit-and-run collision while riding his bicycle in the Broadway-Manchester neighborhood of South Los Angeles, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Incident Details: The fatal crash occurred at approximately 11:10 p.m. near the intersection of Century Boulevard and San Pedro Street. Authorities say both the bicyclist and a vehicle were traveling westbound on Century Boulevard when the driver struck the bicyclist and fled the scene without stopping or rendering aid.
Emergency responders arrived to find the man unresponsive. He was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is being withheld pending family notification. No description of the fleeing vehicle has been released, and the investigation is ongoing.
The LAPD has offered a reward of up to $50,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the driver involved in this hit-and-run.
