SOUTH LOS ANGELES, CA (July 14, 2025) – A bicyclist was killed early Sunday morning after a driver collided with them and three parked cars in South Los Angeles, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Accident Details: The crash occurred around 12:50 a.m. at the intersection of Vernon Avenue and South Figueroa Street. Authorities say a vehicle struck the bicyclist before crashing into three parked cars. The bicyclist, whose identity has not yet been released, was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other injuries were reported in the incident. Police confirmed that the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene following the crash. Investigators have not yet stated whether charges will be filed.
