BAY AREA, Calif. — One person was killed in a wrong-way crash involving a suspected intoxicated driver. According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred early Sunday on Highway 101 near the Cesar Chavez Street exit in San Francisco.
Incident details show that a driver was traveling the wrong way when their vehicle collided head-on with another car. The crash resulted in the death of one individual, whose identity has not yet been released. Authorities said the suspected wrong-way driver was taken into custody on suspicion of DUI.
