Inglewood, CA (June 8, 2025) — A Saturday night crash near SoFi Stadium sent at least six people, including a 14-year-old boy, to the hospital after a vehicle struck a group of pedestrians, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department and Inglewood police.
Incident Details: The collision occurred around 10:30 p.m. at the intersection of Century Boulevard and Prairie Avenue, near both SoFi Stadium and the Intuit Dome. The area was crowded with fans leaving the CONCACAF Gold Cup match held earlier that evening. A vehicle reportedly crashed and struck multiple pedestrians, prompting a large-scale emergency response.
While early reports suggested as many as 10 people may have been injured, officials later confirmed that at least six individuals were taken to the hospital with serious injuries. As of Sunday morning, Inglewood police stated that all victims were in stable condition. The driver’s identity and the cause of the crash have not yet been released.
Investigation and Legal Considerations: Authorities are still working to determine the circumstances of the crash, whether it involved speed, distracted driving, or another form of negligence. Surveillance footage from nearby traffic cameras and venues may be crucial in establishing fault.
Pending the outcome of the investigation, the injured victims may be entitled to file personal injury claims to recover compensation for medical expenses, lost wages, and emotional trauma.
I wish all those injured a full and swift recovery.
