Granada Hills, CA (June 9, 2025) – Two young men, 19-year-old Andrew Lemus and 17-year-old Charley Radool, were killed in a fiery crash early Sunday morning in Granada Hills, according to the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner.
Incident Details: The crash occurred around 2:30 a.m. near the intersection of Balboa Boulevard and Sesnon Boulevard. According to authorities, a vehicle with three occupants struck a tree and caught fire. Lemus and Radool, both passengers, were pronounced dead at the scene. The driver was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries. Speed is suspected as a factor in the crash.
Investigation and Legal Considerations: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Traffic Division is handling the investigation. Detectives are reviewing surveillance footage and working to determine if other contributing factors, such as impairment or distracted driving, were involved.
