ADOT Contractor Injured After Being Hit by Semi-Truck in Cochise County

Cochise County, AZ | May 20, 2025 – An ADOT contractor was seriously injured Monday morning after being struck by a semi-truck on Interstate 10 near Bowie in southern Arizona, according to state officials.

Incident Details: The Arizona Department of Transportation reported that the crash occurred while a contractor was conducting routine work along the westbound lanes of I-10 near milepost 366. A semi-truck veered into the work zone and struck the worker. The injured contractor was airlifted to a Tucson hospital with serious injuries.
