Fresno County, CA (April 11, 2025) – A 21-year-old woman has died following a multi-vehicle collision on Interstate 5 near Highway 33 in Fresno County early Thursday morning.

Incident Details: The crash occurred shortly after 5 a.m. in the southbound lanes of I-5. According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident began when one vehicle was struck and pushed into oncoming lanes, triggering a chain-reaction collision involving several cars. The 21-year-old woman, who was inside one of the impacted vehicles, was airlifted to Community Regional Medical Center, where she later died from her injuries.
