Glenn County, CA (April 28, 2025) – A two-vehicle crash on Highway 32 near County Road N sent 37-year-old Albert Kobrovskii of Carmichael to the hospital Saturday afternoon with suspected minor injuries.
Incident Details: The California Highway Patrol reported that the collision occurred around 2:45 p.m. when a 17-year-old Glenn County resident, driving a gold Toyota Camry eastbound, was allegedly traveling too fast for conditions and failed to stop in time. The Camry struck the rear of Kobrovskii’s Toyota Avalon, which then careened into a dirt embankment and briefly went airborne before coming to rest. Kobrovskii was transported to Enloe Health in Chico. A juvenile passenger in his car and the teen driver were not injured.
Investigation and Legal Considerations: Authorities cited speed as a contributing factor in the crash. While no citations or charges have been announced, further review of road conditions and the teen driver’s actions may impact any potential legal consequences. No impairment was reported as a factor in the collision.
Our thoughts are with Albert Kobrovskii and we wish him a swift recovery.
